Self-proclaimed "Prince of Tobeymen", Frank Gardiner was a kind of godfather of bushranging. Gardiner introduced the world to Johnny Gilbert and Ben Hall as well as pulling of one of history's largest gold robberies at Eugowra Rocks. His life was full of adventure and misfortune.

The Dick Turpin Highwayman Design is inspired by Richard O'Sullivan's portrayal of the infamous horse thief and highwayman Richard 'Dick' Turpin. Hanged for horse theft in 1739, the criminal exploits of Dick Turpin became highly romanticised in the following centuries which ultimately led to the Richard O'Sullivan starring swashbuckling TV adventure which ran for 4 series in the late 70s, early 80s.

One of Australia's most notorious criminals, Dan Morgan was the terror of the Riverina in the 1860s. Arson, robbery and murder were Morgan's trademarks and he met a violent end at the receiving end of a bounty hunter's bullet.

For months Frank Gardiner, The Darkie, had been plotting a big heist. He knew that the key to a big haul was to attack one of the gold escorts from the diggings but they would be heavily guarded so he would need to be able to overwhelm the security. So, as 1862 trundled along Gardiner built up a gang for his heist that could hardly be rivaled by any police escort. Among the men were Gardiner’s wingman Johnny Gilbert, Ben Hall, John O’Meally, Henry Manns, Alexander Fordyce, Daniel Charters, and John Bow . In that time Gardiner had been bouncing ideas around with Gilbert and O’Meally, finally devising a plan as winter set in.

This design has the words "Home is where my truck is" written in English with an awesome blue truck. This is a funny phrase for those who likes big trucks, truckin life, diesel power. Makes a good gift for that person that lives to ride, road warrior or is a rebel rider. Great for any occasion.

Book cover by unknown artist, 1891. Story of a kitten who takes up the life of a highwayman. Not really a "joyful tale". He shoots a rooster's head off, and gets into a drunken brawl with a dog. This seems to have been meant as a cautionary tale for children who might think being a highwayman was romantic.

Johnny Gilbert was the over the top Canadian bushranger that worked alongside Frank Gardiner and Ben Hall. His propensity for violence and love of frivolity and lawlessness led him to and early grave.

Matthew Brady was one of the first major bushrangers in Australian history and led a moderately successful gang in Tasmania in the early 1800s. He earned a reputation as a gentleman bushranger through his courteous behaviour in spite of his criminality, but still found himself at the end of a rope for murder alongside cannibal and baby-killer Mike Jeffries (much to his chagrin).

Frederick Wordsworth Ward was a bushranger that operated under the name "Captain Thunderbolt" in the Uralla region of New South Wales. Accompanied by a range of off-siders including his wife Mary-Ann Bugg, he ruled the roads and became known as a gentleman bushranger. He held no truck with unnecessary violence or murder, turning away accomplices that had committed an act of either. He was eventually gunned down by a police constable as he tried to cross a creek on foot.
