This is my personal vision of Hecate as the Lady of Elche – Dama of Elche (Spain) – an iberian bust of the 4th century.

The Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) is a wild cat species endemic to the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe. It is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List. In the 20th century, the Iberian lynx population had declined because of overhunting, poaching, fragmentation of suitable habitats, and the population decline of its main prey species, the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), caused by myxomatosis and rabbit haemorrhagic disease.

Critically endangered felid species native to the Iberian Peninsula. Distinctive spotted coat and tufted ears, it relies on rabbits for sustenance. Conservation efforts aim to preserve its dwindling population and restore its diminishing habitat.

This design is based in the ancient sculpture of an iberian Lady, found in Baza, Granada (Spain). Presented as some sort of Hecate or Persephone, linked with the dead and the underworld, surrounded by Andalusian elements

I made this drawing of the magnificent stallion of the Ardents in Lumbres, Tahar. It symbolizes all the power of the barb horse, too little known.

Space Wolf

A view of the Dom Louís1 Bridge which spans the River Douro in Porto, Portugal. This fine, two-tiered metal structure dates from 1886 although it was not fully completed until a year later when the lower deck was constructed. It was designed by Theophile Seyrig,a student of Gustav Eiffel. It connects Porto with Villa Nove de Gaia on the southern bank. The Douro itself starts its life in Spain, flowing into Portugal to meet the Atlantic Ocean here at Porto.

On the far bank are found the warehouses and offices of world-famous port wine companies - well worth a visit! The Douro itself rises in Spain and after flowing into the north of Portugal joins the Atlantic Ocean at Porto.
