Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky is a Chilean-French avant-garde filmmaker. Best known for his 1970s films El Topo and The Holy Mountain, Jodorowsky has been "venerated by cult cinema enthusiasts" for his work which "is filled with violently surreal images and a hybrid blend of mysticism and religious provocation".

The Holy Mountain is a 1973 Mexican surreal film directed, written, produced, co-scored, co-edited by and starring Alejandro Jodorowsky, who also participated as a set designer and costume designer on the film.

El Topo ("The Mole") is a 1970 Mexican avant-garde acid Western art film written, scored, directed by and starring Alejandro Jodorowsky. Characterized by its bizarre characters and occurrences, use of maimed and dwarf performers, and heavy doses of Christian symbolism and Eastern philosophy, the film is about the eponymous character – a violent, black-clad gunfighter – and his quest for enlightenment.

The Santa Sangre design celebrates the surrealist horror masterpiece from avant-garde director Alejandro Jodorowsky. The wildly visual film, one of Jodorowsky's best, tells the story of Fenix. Starving and nearly catatonic, Fenix is confined in a sanitarium. He is taken on a field trip along with other residents to the city's red-light district where he encounters by chance a woman from his past, triggering a series of flashbacks.
