Lawrence Creek Trail In Magnets

During a hike in late Fall on the Winner Creek Trail, in Girdwood, Alaska, the sun was setting in the early evening, and creating beautiful light through the big trees, onto the green moss forest floor. I depicted the sun in this painting as an abstracted yellow rose. The original oil painting is 20" x 16", oil on stretched canvas. The painting wraps around the canvas edges.
