Wispy Trees is a long exposure, nature based abstract created in camera.

This long exposure image was taken in the Los Padres National Forest after the recent spring rains. The image was taken without any filters. It was imaged a ISO100, f22, .6 seconds @44mm. It was truly just an opportune shot and I wasn't planning on shooting anything like this that day. A few filters could have made this even more fun...next time.

Long exposure and planned camera movement find the natural colors of a summer day inspiring such a fun design. The fuchsia colors of the sweet pea blossoms dance upon the wind with the lush meadow grasses.

Nature's Illusions- Crop Circles is a creation using long exposure and planned camera movement combined with natural lighting and coloration of the scene before me. Lovely shades of green and pink combined with special affects to represent crop circles! Who makes these things.....me mostly.

Nature's Illusions- Autumn Curves is a creation using long exposure, planned camera movement and just a little special effects to create the curves for a beautiful and unique design that is nature based.

Working on long exposure on the lower shore was somewhat tricky and precarious... but using my tripod for support in moving across the rocks, I managed okay... Working out the timings of the period of the waves, I then calculated long exposure for this smouldery smoothed out look of the sea across to Penmon lighthouse...
