Temple-Beaudry is a neighborhood of Mideast Los Angeles (MELA) named after the intersection of Temple Street and Beverly Boulevard. Its greatest attraction, arguably, is Vista Hermosa Park.

Los Feliz is a neighborhood in Mideast Los Angeles (MELA). It's named after the Feliz (also spelled Felix and Felis) family who ranched there decades ago. Silver Lake is a restaurant in the Mideast Los Angeles (MELA) region. It is famously Los Angeles's "gayborhood," having been the birthplace of the Advocate magazine, Light House Book Store, the Black Cat protest (the nation's first planned gay rights action), the Mattachine Society, and countless gay bars. One of its affectionate neighborhood -- a reference to both its demographics and hilly topography, is "the Swish Alps." The stretch of Rowena Avenue in Silver Lake (it continues into Los Feliz) is where I live and was formerly the home of my gentlemen's shop, Brightwell. Also included in this map are the streets of Ivanhoe (a district of Silver Lake) which are named after the Scottish novel of the same name. I made this map around 2014, I think.

Lifeline Care Package (White)

I don't suppose this map will be of interest to many although I encourage folks to make their own. It's a map of all of the bus routes from beginning to end with stops near my home, Pendersleigh. It also includes the routes of trains and BRT those buses serve. It gives me a sense of how easy it is, to be honest, to live in a city without an automobile.

Little Central America is a nickname given to the neighborhoods of Westlake and Pico-Union, which are home to large numbers of residents from Salvadoran, Guatemalan, and other Central American backgrounds. It's also home to a large number of restaurants and businesses owned by and catering to people of various Central American backgrounds.
