This drawing is based off of a photograph taken of my late grandmother, Lorraine, when she was a young woman. It is the only photo I personally have of her. I always hear about how kind she was and she always looked so classy to me in the photo I have of her. To me, she is mythic and epic from the shared memories of those who knew her, and I wanted to convey that in this design as a homage to her qualities.
