Okapi is an unique animal. It is also known as a forest giraffe, Congolese giraffe, or zebra giraffe. Handpainted, soft pastel on a special paper.

The prehensile tongue of the Okapi is used to strip leaves from branches, to wash their eyelids, and even clean out their ears! Their tongue is 12-14 inches long and black or dark blue in color.

The okapi, also known as the forest giraffe, Congolese giraffe, or zebra giraffe, is an artiodactyl mammal that is endemic to the northeast Democratic Republic of the Congo in central Africa.
