Prisoner of conscience (POC) is a term coined by Peter Benenson in a 28 May 1961 article ("The Forgotten Prisoners") for the London Observer newspaper. Most often associated with the human rights organisation Amnesty International, the term can refer to anyone imprisoned because of their race, sexual orientation, religion, or political views. It also refers to those who have been imprisoned and/or persecuted for the non-violent expression of their conscientiously held beliefs.

On Tuesday, July 26th 2022 Dr. Simone Gold, frontline care doctor who shares how to end covid, started serving a 60 day prison sentence in a violent, highly political detention center in Miami on a bogus charge of trespassing. This typewriter quote, in black Harting font, is from Dr. Simone Gold, they day she reported to prison: "If they can send me to prison for speaking the truth about COVID-19, they can crush anyone." All profits from this design will go to America’s Frontline Doctors.

My President Is A Prisoner wear it with pride because many countries including Israel, France and South Korea experience locked up leadership, impeachments and convictions. In the coming years we will find out if America is joining this not-so exclusive country club of imprisoned presidents.
