My tattoo designs have become more and more American-Traditional in their leanings as I have come to appreciate the art over time. While truly an American-Traditional design, this tiger shares many of the elements; a reliance on bold lines, a minimal color-palette, and a traditional subject. There is an interesting meaning behind this traditional tattoo design. A geisha fell in love with a monk. Being a servant, she knew that she was not allowed to fall in love, but pursued the relationship regardless of the risk. When she was discovered, her punishment was death. The brimstone symbol (the two-armed cross on an infinity symbol) is an alchemical device used to indicate sulfur or concepts regulated to the demonic/satanic. It is a device that in modern times has been used to distinguish Traditional Satanism from the more modern LaVey Sigil of Baphomet. That is, if you go in for that kind of things.
