'A walk along the Torrens' was created from a reference photo I captured while walking on the River Torrens Linear trail of Adelaide, South Australia. The river is lined with Gum trees and reed beds,an oasis in the city and suburbs. On the day of my walk, the sky and water were a vivid blue.

The wonderful garden city of Adelaide South Australia - the Kaurna aboriginal people are the original custodians of the area.

The Popeye is a Heritage iconic cruise boat of Adelaide's river Torrens/Karrawirra Parri. It departs from Elder Park and takes people on a cruise under various bridges passing the festival theatre and other sites. Popeye docks at the Adelaide zoo wharf. I captured the reference photo for this painting while walking beside the river Torrens on an overcast day.
