This design is from the 30-year anniversary celebration of the iconic Sunset Strip location, which opened in 1971 on the northwest corner of Sunset Boulevard and Horn Avenue in West Hollywood. Tower Records was an American record label active from 1964 to 1970. A subsidiary of Capitol Records, Tower often released music by artists who were relatively low-profile in compared to those released on the parent label, including artists—such as The Standells and The Chocolate Watchband—later recognized as "garage bands". For this reason Tower is often associated with the garage rock phenomenon of the 1960s.

The Victor Talking Machine Company was an American record company and phonograph manufacturer. The company was founded by engineer Eldridge R. Johnson, who had been manufacturing gramophones for inventor Emile Berliner, to play his disc records. After a series of legal issues between Berliner, Johnson and their former business partners, the two joined to form the Consolidated Talking Machine Co. in order to combine Berliner's patents for the disc record and Gramophone, along with Johnson's patents for improving its performance and fidelity. The Victor Talking Machine Co. was incorporated officially on October 3, 1901 shortly before an agreement with Columbia Records to share their various disc record patents.

Chapter 3 Records was a small record store chain in the Atlanta area from the '70s to the '90s. In Atlanta, there were three locations; Buckhead, Smyrna and North Springs. There were also locations in Morgantown, WV, Greensboro, NC and Gainesville, FL. Chapter 3 had the atmosphere of an independent store, even though it was technically a chain. It was dubbed "The Lowest Priced Record Chain in the Southeastern United States."

According to the Guinness Book of World Records: "The largest four-faced clock is that on the research and office addition of the Allen-Bradley Company. Each face has a diameter of 40 feet, 3-1/2 inches. Dedicated on October 31, 1962, it rises 280 feet from the streets of Milwaukee, and requires 34.6 kilowatts of electricity for lighting and power. The clock has been called "The Polish Moon," referring to the historically Polish neighborhood in which it is based.

Formerly named “Village Record Shoppe”, Phase II Records & Tapes was a record store at Brannon Square in Roswell, GA (Atlanta metro area).

Franklin Music was a store chain originally founded in 1968 by former Sam Goody employee Albert S. Franklin. The very first Franklin Music was opened inside Philadelphia's Echelon Mall. Hi-Fi equipment, Musical instruments, sheet music and records/tapes (8-track and cassettes) were sold in the store. The chain expanded to New Jersey and then to the Atlanta area. It dissolved into Camelot Music eventually.
