When I am in Austria I just love walking in forests. There are no dangerous animals, no poisonous snakes, just peace and quiet. If you go early enough, there will be fog lacing around trees and morning dew on each little blade of grass. It is the most amazing way to calm down, come down and to feel grounded again. The Japanese have an expression for this. They call it 'forest bathing'. It is addictive. This old tree stump, robbed of its glory as a big tall tree, still manages to give a sense of pride, a sense of what used to be... August 2016. iphone 6.
