Unusual Tree Magnets

There is a story behind this unusual name for a picture. A few months ago I shared a picture to a Facebook photography group (taken in November of 2008) of an unusual looking tree at one of the many local parks where I live. One of the members commented on the tree and said it would be interesting to get an updated photograph of the tree if it was still there. I went back to the park and it was still there so the name of the photograph is a credit to the person who suggested it.

The human mind is an interesting thing. Different people see things in different ways. When shown this photograph, some friends and family all saw different things in it. What do you see in this interesting tree stump? Do you see a specific animal, more than one animal, or something else entirely?

In Hebrew, Cherubim means a celestial winged being who represents God's spirit on Earth and symbolizes the worship of God. In Ezekiel, cherubim are described as angelic creatures, with two sets of wings and four faces (lion, ox, human, and eagle). The four faces of the cherubim represent the four domains of God's rule.
