European Robins

I painted this cute little robin as an individual robin water colour painting but realised it would make a fantastic print, either for Christmas gifts or all year round. Robins are such fun, friendly and energetic little birds, I feel this really comes alive as a print! This sweet little robin is also available as a single print in my "Nature" section of my shop. European robin (Erithacus rubecula) are small garden birds and a common sight in England. Found widely across Europe, robins are famous for their orange breast. Their body feathers are brown and grey with lighter white underparts.

This is a beautiful vintage inspired pattern decorated with watercolor painted european robins on branches with leaves. These robins are well known for their orangey red breast feathes.The leaves and branches are overlapping each other to repeat seamlessly. This pattern has been transferred into a vector format so it can be printed in a large scale. The background colour is a beautiful robins egg blue, with a touch of green.
