Lamarr was a brilliant actress, but also a brilliant inventor. She pioneered the technology that directly led to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. So while she had a very pretty face, she was way more than that!

1940s actress Hedy Lamarr developed frequency-hopping signal technology that would later be implemented by the Navy, and be used to create Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
