This painting is called Iditarod Dream. The musher is mushing his way down the trail past Denali mountain with his trusty team of dogs. I painted this oil painting on canvas for the library and community center in Willow.

i've been inspired by the iditarod ever since my aunt libby ran it :)

The Iditarod-Trail is 1 of 19 trails designated as a National Historic Trail. The trails runs roughly 2,400 miles, mostly east/west in Alaska. The famous dog sled race follows most of the trail.
