The marquee of the Northern Drive-In Theatre, in Phoenix, Arizona - one of the many drive-in theaters that dotted the Valley of the Sun in the past. Northern Drive-in was located at 2526 W. Northern Avenue. This double bill was in 1954.

El Peso Drive-In Movie Theatre was located at 3720 West Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona. It used the reverse side of the movie screen of the Acres Drive-In, and showed Spanish-language films. This bill was showing at El Peso in 1967.

This is a marquee from the Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma, CA where I spent nearly every day as a teenager seeing 100's of amazing bands over the years. he Sombrero Playhouse was a regional theater in Phoenix, Arizona. It was built in March 1949, the first legitimate professional theater in Phoenix. Major Broadway and Hollywood stars of the time performed on stage at the Sombrero, including Katharine Cornell, Helen Hayes, Kirk Douglas, Milton Berle, Billie Burke, Burgess Meredith, Walter Pidgeon, Tom Drake, Vincent Price, and Mary Astor. Despite its limited capacity, it was one of the most widely-known regional theaters in the Western United States during the 1950s and early 1960s. From 1976-1982, it was an art film house.
