The sun sets over the fishing loch, high up in Glen Quaich. The outline of Schiehallion (the fairy Hill) is on the right hand side of the photograph.

Looking from Queens View, down Loch Tummel over Mains of Duntanlich, towards the distance Mt Schiehallion. Supposedly named after Queen Victoria when she visited the area in 1866, however it is also suggested it was named after King Robert the Bruces' wife, Queen Isabella of Scotland. Neither grouse or midges can be found in my photograph. Both were all around me, one noisy, one quiet. The Grouse Hut at Glen Quaich sits high above Kenmore and Loch Tay with Schiehallion in the background.
