Seaside Town Oil Painting East Coast Ca Mugs

A poster-style painting of Southwold Seaside Town in Suffolk. Southwold is a seaside town and civil parish on the English North Sea coast in the East Suffolk district of Suffolk. It lies at the mouth of the River Blyth within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

I've titled this 'Beach Cafe' as my tradition of using the location - California, Norfolk, UK - may confuse people. Yes there is a little village called California in Norfolk, just North of Great Yarmouth. On this occasion (around 1990ish) I walked there barefoot across the sands, and found this cafe and shop just off from the road head. Painted in oil on a 16x12 inch board.

Hastings is a seaside town on England's south coast in East Sussex. Its name is synonymous with the Battle of Hastings in 1066 although this happened a little to the north at Senlac Hill. In medieval times it became one of the Cinq Ports. It now boasts the largest beach-based fishing fleet in the UK based on The Stade just below here.
