A doodle I did back in 2016 that I feel deserves a spot in my shop!

Made a mock movie poster for SuperShaw, because... practice... and I was also sparked(hah!) to do it because of the hype around the recent Avengers movie. Done in Autodesk sketchbook between my laptop and phone in about 12 hours total. (The clouds and lightning took the most amount of time) Art/SuperStyx League concepts (c) Illia St. Onge 2019

"The Jig Is Up, The News Is Out..." A little something inspired by an ink drawing I did of Tommy Shaw about a year ago. (Which was also inspired by the song Renegade) Wanted to get the feel of an "old-timey" wanted poster for the background/backdrop, and also with the 'punch-y' feel of a comic book cover. Drawn on paper first, then lined and finished on my phone in about 6 hours (over the past few days). Art (c) Illia St. Onge 2018

Charley Magruder’s, the north Atlanta club owned by Butch Weaver from the early 1980s through its demise in 1996, was the spot that attracted a motley procession of familiar faces, from Tommy Shaw of Styx to Lemmy of Motorhead to Butch Patrick (aka Eddie Munster) to members of Metallica — all of whom would swing by. It was a launching pad for many successful bands. The now defunct WKLS 96 Rock would host events there. Along with places like Turtle's Records and Tapes, CM was a safe haven for many an Atlantan to get their ROCK on!
