Little Red Beauty - Vermilion Flycatcher by Debra Martz The title pretty much says it all. The Vermilion is a tiny bird, with the male having a showy crown, lower face, and underparts in brilliant scarlet or vermilion. They can be found in the far southern parts of the states of Texas west to California and through out much of Central and South America. This little beauty was in southern Texas at South Llano River State Park.
