An infrared photo of a (originally blue and white striped) crocus spring flower. Since colors are pretty much disappearing in infrared light, this flower - Which can therefore be found as a non-infrared photo in my shop - is now pale blue, with all green around it having pretty much turned to white.

A wet tulip after a morning rain in spring, photographed in infrared, then converted to false color. The glittering water drops reflect the light of the morning sun.

Cow Parsnip Infrared by Debra Martz While hiking the Goose Creek Trail near Red River, New Mexico, one couldn't help but notice how lush the nature of in the forest was. While I saw the one large insect, my main focus was that of the white blooms of the Cowparsnip. Once I zoomed in on my computer to view, I was surprised at just how many insects were enjoying this wildflower! Sigmund Stern Grove, San Francisco, CA I had walked much of the perimeter of both parks that afternoon and was starting to get a bit tired of lugging all my gear around (Backpack full of Hasselblad gear and a tripod in a sling bag).
