A Lonely Place To Rest. This was an image that popped into my head, of a skull in a shallow pool or swamp, a leftover of some long forgotten tragedy. I wanted to include the dragonfly sitting on top of the skull to juxtapose life and death, and to add a flash of colour. Originally painted in acrylic.
