Discovered this rustic farm machinery abandoned in the woods during a fall hike in the woods. Hard to determine exact purpose, but it appeared to be a horse drawn hay or grain cutter.

Ever been stuck in a rut going nowhere? climbing the wrong ladder? Going nowhere fast? This Ladder leads nowhere, so climbing it would be entirely pointless. The specific ladder resides in Battery Mishler, fort Stevens, Oregon. Since this Battery was used from before the Civil war, through world war I and into and beyond World War II, It was built in stages for various purposes. at one point someone built this ladder and then never completed or covered over where it was supposed to go…never dismantling the ladder.

There once was a factory making machines. The machines became old and rusty and I have no clue if the factory still exists but this rusty bit of machinery makes a beautiful texture.
