The Arctic Tab was originally designed as a rectangular bar worn below the SSI on the ACU. In November 2019, the Arctic Tab was redesigned to resemble other U.S. Army skill tabs and worn above the SSI, below other skill tabs and above unit designation tabs. The Battle of Pork Chop Hill, known as Battle of Seokhyeon-dong Northern Hill in China, comprises a pair of related Korean War infantry battles during April and July 1953. These were fought while the United Nations Command (UN) and the Chinese and North Koreans negotiated the Korean Armistice Agreement. In the U.S., they were controversial because of the many soldiers killed for terrain of no strategic or tactical value, although the Chinese lost many times the number of US soldiers killed and wounded. The 180th Infantry Regiment was a main force in the battle.

Thje regiment then staged at Camp Shanks NY and departed 5 September 1943, arrived in England 19 Oct 1943. Assault the Normandy breach in June 1944. The onSeptember 1944 assaulted Nijmegen Holland. Returned to France 28 November 1944, disbanded on 1 MArch 1945. The glidermen were assigned to the 327th Glider Infantry. Campaigns: Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe

On 6 January 1941 the 201st Infantry was inducted into federal service at Morgantown, West Virginia Following the war’s end the 201st reverted to state control where it was reorganized and redesignated as the 201st Field Artillery Battalion. In December 1990, the unit was called to serve in Operation Desert Storm. The unit was activated for 180 days unless sooner released or later extended. In December 2003, the 201st was again called to active duty for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Today, 1st Battalion, 201st Field Artillery Regiment is the only active squadron in the regiment. The 1st Squadron, 180th Cavalry Regiment is a formation of the United States Army, headquartered in McAlester, Oklahoma. The 111th Infantry Regiment, was originally the Pennsylvania Militia or "Associators" that fought in the American Revolution, composed of civilian males from the citizenry of Pennsylvania. It is one of several National Guard units with colonial roots and campaign credit for the War of 1812. The Pennsylvania Militia often fought in conjunction with General Washington and the Continental Army along the Delaware River. The 15th United States Infantry Regiment is a parent regiment in the United States Army. It has a lineage tracing back to the American Civil War, having participated in many battles. The current 15th Infantry was activated during the Civil War on 3 May 1861. It was one of nine new Regular Army regiments, numbered 11 through 19, which were organized into three 8 company battalions. The battalions often operated independently of each other. Its headquarters first in Wheeling, West Virginia then Cleveland, Ohio, then on to Newport Barracks, Kentucky and finally ending up in Fort Adams, Rhode Island in September 1862.

The 149th Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment of the United States Army, provided by the Kentucky Army National Guard. It was originally constituted 22 May 1846 in the Kentucky Militia as the 1st Kentucky Cavalry and the 2d Kentucky Volunteer Infantry. After a year of Federal service (June 1846 to June 1847), it was reorganized on 15 June 1860 in the Kentucky State Guard as the Lexington Battalion (which included the Lexington Rifles). It was then expanded in November 1860 to comprise the Lexington Battalion and the Kentucky River Battalion.
