Using watercolor paper in the background with night sky colors poured and tilted and blended; then painted rocks on mulberry paper and tore them out and mounted them. Painted black acrylic on a long-fiber rice paper and tore it into strips to glue down and create the large foreground tree. After all was dry, painted some mid- and background trees in watercolor and spattered white gouache for a light snowfall.

Something to touch, something to feel, hear. This artwork has a composition of visual pleasure, astonishing color, interesting materials, and unusually provoking shape, and you can touch it. The idea stroke me yesterday. I just grabbed the materials and did it. I have used mixed media: cardboard, bubble plastic, colored plastic, tempera, tape, and glitter glue. I love making unusual works like these. You can touch the artwork, and press its parts. I guess it is so interesting and provoking that everybody will notice it. The color combination you see is my favorite: ruby red and clear turquoise blue. The best ideas are coming fast and the artist has to grab them as fast as possible.

Zuckerberg for the schematically inclined

In around February or March, the daffodils in all their variety herald the coming of spring out here in the West of Ireland - always a most welcome sight.This semi-abstract digital collage is based on a photo of daffodils (Narcissus) of the trumped type with white petals and an orange corona growing in my garden. It is composed of a variety of distressed acrylic paint backgrounds in warm earth tones of brown, white, sepia, gold and dark green.

I combined a few mediums to create this overall pattern designed to be fun and unique.
