Clover Hollow Covered Bridge Pins and Buttons

The Sinking Creek Bridge (also known as Clover Hollow Bridge), a 70-foot span currently maintained by Giles County VA, near Newport VA was left in place for the property owner when a new bridge was built in 1949. It was built circa 1916 with modified Howe trusses.    The Clover Hollow Bridge (located on Clover Hollow Road) was bypassed years ago, but remains in remarkable condition. One of three covered bridges (the C.K.
