The Tower of Refuge is a small building of stone found in the Isle of Man, on an outcrop of reef in Douglas bay. Built for sailors that had a habit of running aground in the trecherous area.

I made this design when i had just moved to the Isle of Man. It was the peak of summer, so there was flowers a bloom at every turn, Wild Crocosmia grows on almost every cliff and verge. It looks far too tropical to be native to the British Isles!
