The Exorcist is one of the BEST MOVIES I have ever watched in my entire life. This movie came out in 1973, and to this day, it holds up without revamping. I am a horror fan, always have been, and possession is my favorite genre. The Exorcist has it all from drama to suspense to gore, and there is no exploitation. The story is strong, and the acting marvelous. The Exorcist has a base on a novel by American writer William Peter Blatty of the same name. The movie pulls you in and has you guess how the possession happened. If there is one movie I would recommend, this is it. One of the best movies ever made.
