The Fremont Hotel is located on 200 Fremont Street. It was designed by architect Wayne McAllister and opened on May 18, 1956, as the tallest building in the state of Nevada. The casino is located on what is commonly referred to as the four corners. These are the four main hotels that are located on the corner of Casino Center Boulevard and Fremont Street. The four casinos making up the four corners are The Fremont, the Four Queens, the Golden Nugget, and Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel.

The Love Locket - Fremont Street - Las Vegas by Debra Martz The "Love Locket" is an interactive, metal heart-shaped sculpture that allows people to attach locks and other pieces of metal displaying their hopes, dreams and loves. It is located on the corner of Fremont and 7th street, in front of the Downtown Container Park. It was erected by artist Nova May, in 2013, as part of the Life is Beautiful Festival but the artist feels that her sculpture represents more than a successful festival. May says, “Every individual who took part in locking the little hearts became part of creating the piece.” Vandalism struck in January, 2016; security video footage revealed that a couple of people cut one side of the art piece loose and loaded ...

The Holiday International Casino (1977-1987) was an old school hotel and casino located at 300 North Main Street in Las Vegas Nevada. The addresses of 200 N Main Street and 300 N Main Street have occupied a few casinos over the past 40 years. It is one of the areas of Downtown Las Vegas that has a lot of history to it. What started this location’s casino history was the Holiday International Casino back in 1978 when it opened to the general public. It would be the first of three resorts at that location that is part of Fremont Street.

Pioneer Club Las Vegas was a casino that opened in 1942 and was located in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, at 25 East Fremont Street. It ceased operating as a casino in 1995, the same year the Fremont Street Experience was completed.

The Orbit Inn launched on Fremont and 7th Streets in 1963. It was the home of not one but two Space Age signs. The first featured a rocket and a globe encircled by orbit trails. Author Tom Wolfe cited it as an example of Las Vegas’s unrestrained “Late American Rich” style. The rocket portion of the sign was replaced by a more functional “Motel” element in the 1960s. Sadly, the motel is best remembered for a tragic explosion on the morning of January 7, 1967, when an Army deserter killed himself and five others by shooting a pistol into a stack of dynamite. The Orbit Inn closed in 1987. Today, the site is the location of the Downtown Container Park.

Bourbon Street Hotel and Casino (named after New Orleans' Bourbon Street) was a small hotel and casino near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Opening in 1980 as the Shenandoah Hotel, the property was plagued with licensing and financial difficulties from the start. Ownership changed hands several times, with new proprietors often envisioning major renovations or redevelopment, but none of the plans came to fruition. Finally, in 2005, it was bought by Harrah's Entertainment (later Caesars Entertainment), who closed and demolished it.

The Park was a 406-room hotel and casino located on 200 North Main Street near Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. The hotel originally opened in 1978 as the Holiday International and became the Park in 1987 after three years of the hotel being closed due to a hotel strike. The hotel was owned by Japanese investor Katsuki Manabe. It later closed in 1990 after being bought by Bob Snow to become Main Street Station.

El Cortez, a hotel and casino, is a relatively small downtown Las Vegas gaming venue a block from the Fremont Street Experience and Las Vegas Boulevard. Slots, table games, and a race and sports book occupy one floor of the main pavilion, at this historic casino. It opened on Fremont Street on November 7, 1941
