Something catches the eye of a Eurasian Wolf hunting in a misty moonlit forest. The wolf was photographed at The Highland Wildlife Park in Scotland but I decided to put him in a more interesting environment so added a background of trees from Formby Pinewoods, then a moon and a touch of mist were added in Photoshop and Topaz.

We seldom get snow round here, but we do get some heavy frosts, foggy nights and misty mornings. This was taken during a particular heavy frost and the icy particles turned the trees and grasses white so that they sparkled in the moonlight.It was taken in Formby, near Liverpool with a Nikon D300.
