P'nti Earth Literature Expert recently discovered the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and became intrigued with the character of Sherlock Holmes.

When you are far, far from your own world, Earth can seem like a lonely place. One of the P'nti trainees of the Sandia Mountain Information Station requested this portrait and wanted to let us know that as exciting as participating in a planet's Official First Contact is, sometimes they still really do miss home.

Orth, one of the P'nti of the Sandia Mountain Information Station helped us understand that our Zeta friends accept and embrace homosexuality within their culture. Orth told us that there were more genders out in the Milky Way Galaxy than we knew and when it comes to the expression of that, he smiled and simply said, "Love is love is love."

Friendly, fun, curious and still learning about Earth, Pita enjoys visiting contactees all over the world. Recently he's taken to educating himself about Earth music and dance, and has learned that you do not have to visit Earth's moon to learn to moonwalk.

Say hello to Jrooti. No really - reach out and say hello. She's waiting to return the greeting to you, but she wonders...are you too afraid to reach out for someone who may not seem 'real' and convey a greeting? Hopefully not! Jrooti's mission at Sandia Mountain is Cultural Liaison, and that means getting Earth-humans ready to meet the Star Nations (specifically the Pnti), and getting them ready to meet Earth-humans. Help her in quest to bring understanding to both peoples.

Who's behind that black stare? What manner of man is this? Part Jedi? Part Security Chief? Part...kitten rescuer in fuzzy slippers? Yes! To all of the above! This is Tht (Thought). He is the Head of Security for the Sandia Mountain Information Station and proud companion to "Lost Kitty - Hairball of Light," the weeks old kitten he rescued outside the station one day not long ago. Now this telekinesis wielding Security Head must protect his tender toes from the sharp claws of a playful kitten by wearing fuzzy bunny slippers. Surely, those lenses hide nothing but the kindest eyes in the galaxy, right? We may soon find out - check back later!

Meet Grayson, or as he is known by numerous of his fellows, Grayspeare. Grayson is a cultural liaison at the Sandia Mountain Information Station. One of his favorite literary icons is none other than Earth's own Williams Shakespeare. Don't let this contemplative look fool you; he is also quite the jokester. Like all P'nti he loves to laugh and have fun. You might well imagine that here in his portrait he is pondering the eternal question, "To prank, or not to prank. That is the question."

Hand in Hand depicts the simple but powerful image of a flesh colored Earth Human hand whose fingers are intertwining with those of a grey skinned extraterrestrial. The symbolism here is a powerful one and depicts friendship, working together, cooperation, and moving toward Earth's Official First Contact as a unified pair instead of individually.

When most people think of Bigfoot or Sasquatch, they picture full grown adult males. They often do not stop to consider the gals, nor the children. This portrait is of the close up of a young Sasquatch boy (on a windy day) who's image was captured as he was investigating the the lens of a trail cam.

Our Zeta friend, Commander Tlkm requested this portrait in late June of 2019. He made us aware that he occasionally visits and consults with the great Elephant Nation elders. On his last trip, one of their youngsters approached him and Tlkm automatically reached out to touch and speak gently with this brave baby elephant. The P'nti remind us that not all sentient nations use hands to build things. For our Zeta friends, writing and construction are not the only measures of intelligence. Some of these nations have advanced beyond the need.

Jll (say Jah-el) is one of the visiting liaison specialists working under the Sandia Mountain. Jll is an accomplished musician and plays an instrument similar to a harp bak home.

Tk tk! Heart Hands

Zufu often is on the information desk at the Sandia Station early in the mornings answering questions from the public. Straightforward with a wry sense of humor, Zufu often helps with sharing words and phrases from his language. Most often, when he first hops onto Twitter in the predawn hours, you will see him ask, "Dkyw Kwh, cjcj whh?" (Good morning Blue Water People, what's up?"

Sometimes the Sandia Mountain Information Station trainees have interesting and unusual questions. In a discussion one day about words and phrases that are used to describe extraterrestrials, the phrase "little green men" was brought up. One of the P'nti trainees looked over at us curiously and asked, "You mean...I'm a little green guy?"

Jrooti is one of the P'nti's cultural liaisons. She was the first P'nti introduced to us who was female. Soft spoken and gracious, Jrooti enjoys wearing silk and sampling whatever dark chocolate she can find here on Earth.

Sarah (whose real name is actually pronounced "Ser-hah") is the Sandia Mountain Information Stations Official First Contact historian. She studied official first contacts on other worlds and brought her knowledge to help prepare us for Earth's OFC in the fall of 2021.

Zoot is a newly graduated trainee who is now beginning to work on one of the visiting mission team. When asked about his hat, he told us he always wore it backwards...unless he was in bright light, when he turns it right way around to use the brim to help shade his eyes. Zoot's favorite color is red...does it show?

Meet Radar - the P'nti's very own Renaissance man. Radar is one of the Sandia Mountain Information Station's pilots, he is a stellar cartographer, and Earth-media specialist. He also plays a mean rock-n-roll guitar. Radar has an eclectic wardrobe of styles seen in the entertainment industry throughout history. Not to mention his collection of hats...which will be viewed here at a later date. Stay tuned - you never know what might happen when Radar is involved!

Sometimes you get some really fun questions from the newest trainees at the Sandia Mountain Information Station. One of my favorites is, "Did you learn moonwalking on the moon?"

Mim is the resident artist of the Sandia Mountain Information Station and encourages the growth of artistic skills in Earth Humans who invite her for a visit.

The P'nti are a Star Nation who manage a facility beneath the Sandia Mountain on the eastern edge of Albuquerque. While those visited by the P'nti often see them with the black retractable lenses over their eyes, beneath them the P'nti have beautiful eye colors similar to our own but also including shades of lavender and amber.

T'ni was introduced to us in June 2016 as our new telepathy teacher. She worked with us for a year translating the Telepathy 101 Primer, which was published in December 2017. Since then, the Primer has been translated into more than a dozen languages.

Children are considered a blessed and sacred part of P'nti culture. Even before they are born, the parents, family and teachers telepathically beginning communicating and sharing with the child.

This is Kit, one of the P'nti cultural liaisons of the Sandia Mountain Information Station. She is part of an all female team and truly anticipates being invited to experience the homes of her contactees. She confesses that she does sample the foods (especially good chocolate) offered by her Earth Human friends when she goes out on missions. In her off duty hours, Kit studies various Earth painting styles and enjoys trying her hand at imitating those techniques herself. She also likes visiting artists' homes and loves to sit quietly behind them for hours watching them work. She often teaches her Earth Human friends in their dreams, but honestly openly admits to being a dreamer herself.

Many individuals involved in volunteering to help move Earth toward it's Official First Contact (OFC) are familiar with Commander Tlkm, the P'nti manager of the Sandia Mountain Information Station. You can also help move Earth toward a positive OFC by proudly wearing a "I work for Tlkm" shirt. Those who have tell us people have stopped them on the street asking "Where did you get that shirt?" It's been a conversation starter for sure.

Let me introduce you to Dell, Sandia Mountain Information Station's hangar chief...and faux grump. Dell is a perfect combination of today's Clint Eastwood, and (the original) MacGyver. He can fix anything, he runs a tight ship (a particle of dust would not *dare* to land on one of his shiny engines!), and he's responsible for fixing the damaged caused by certain speedy-junkie pilots. *cough* Radar *cough* However, when those fixed up Sunfish class ships, like the Delta Dawn II, need to go out for a test flight...it's usually Dell at the controls teaching those "kids" a thing or two about flying. Hey Dell, can you sneak us poor Earth-humans one of those nifty floating lights, like the one in your picture?

Beam is one of the female blended P'nti visiting liaisons who recently completed the training program at the Sandia Mountain Information Station.

With a nod to the classic science fiction movie "2001" this is Radar, the Earth media specialist of the Sandia Mountain Information Station, with reflections in visor of his EVA suit's helmet just like the movie's character Dr. David "Dave" Bowman.

Beam is one of the female liaisons at the Sandia Mountain Information Station, and extraterrestrial facility 2 miles deep beneath the Sandia Mountain on the eastern edge of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Some things are what the P'nti call "universal joys"...something that brings a smile, a laugh, or an instinct to joyfully play that crosses species. Soap bubbles are one of those thing.
