Painted Stones Pins and Buttons

This print is a combination of photo's I took of my painted stones. And a additional text that popped up in my mind. The stones, I have found on the beach in Las Fuentes, Spain. On this coastline there are natural sources coming out of the ground. I took the pebbles home and painted various designs on them. ©2016-Colette van der Wal

Sea Stones

Inspired by teenage angst and "Paint it Black", Rolling Stones. Original artwork: Copperplate etching

Caffe Ristoro Piccadilly in Pisa, Tuscany. The tables and chairs are empty after a shower of rain, but the area has an old world charm and the brightly painted walls almost glow in the afternoon sunshine. The image has been given a 'peeling paint' filter to match the ancient building. The image is also available without the filter.

The original was painted with watercolors on cold pressed arches paper.
