During this time, the war was just getting started and many soldiers were coming and going to the warfronts around the world. With this increase in movement, sexually transmitted diseases also began to increase. Many states began to produce posters in order to make the public more aware of the disease as well as symptoms it had.

This is a like-new reproduction of the original WPA poster advertising a father and son banquet. This was sponsored by the Chicago Urban League was held at the Savoy Ballroom. This is a great piece of history as artists, musicians and the community rallied together during The Great Depression to encourage events, travel and additional places, etc. to help bring the economy to a better place.

This is a great digitally restored vintage WPA Poster completed by John Mc Crady during the 1930's. This propaganda poster suggests that US citizens purchase war stamps and bonds to help the soldiers overseas. This would make a great piece for the historical collector or World War II enthusiast. There is also a higher contrast version available in the shop, should you want bolder colors than this.

The poster shows the Old Swedes Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a part of the United States' WPA Federal Art Project, which employed artists, singers and other creative professions to help boost the economy during The Great Depression.

The Kelpies sculptures are the largest works of art in Scotland, and the largest equine sculptures in the world. More than 1 million people have visited the Kelpies since they were completed in April 2014. The Kelpies, the centrepiece of the 350-hectare, £43m Helix parkland project, have boosted the local economy by £1.5m per year. They have won a number of design awards, and were named "Scotland's national treasure" by the National Lottery.

Beautifully restored vintage WPA poster from 1938 to help stop the spread of TB (tuberculosis). These public health posters were created by independent artists from the US Government to help boost the economy and spread public awareness of disease and prevention.

From the 1930's, the seal of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's " New Deal ", the Civilian Conservation Corps provided work for millions of men during the Great Depression. From 1933 to 1942 these men provided manual labor needed to improve America's public lands, parks and forests.
