Silk Embroidery Pins and Buttons

Design based on the detail of “Silk Embroidery with Flowers and Leaves, Leek Embroidery Society (attributed to), 1885 - 1895” from the free-for-use digital collection of reproductions at the Rijksmuseum website.

Design based on multiplied fragments of traditional Indian silk fabric, embellished with bead embroidery. I used the material for a custom-made dress.
