Orange Bird is an Orange Nerd

Used on Florida Citrus packaging in the 1970s, this former advertising icon let consumers know that their orange and grapefruit juice came from the Sunshine State. Disney's Orange Bird was said to reside in the Sunshine Tree.

In 1971, a wonderful little bird took up residence in the Magic Kingdom. Sadly, the Orange Bird was removed due to the hateful speech of his co-star, Anita Bryant. Let's celebrate his return and reclaim him as the icon he is!
