The human being seeks the infinite without understanding that his human condition does not allow him to reach it. Symbols are universal elements of communication, a means of ancestral freedom of expression. They concentrate strong messages that transcend borders and languages but remain one of the main elements of identification, differentiation, claim and pride of different cultures, and therefore of the richness of the cultural diversity. At some point, around World War One, Nikolay Gumilyov was a leading Russian poet. Initially, he was influenced by symbolism, but he later forged a new way of making poetry – Acmeism. In this adventure, he was joined by Osim Mandelstham and Anna Akhmatova, and some others who were in the group called the Guild of Poets. Gumilyov never hid his dislike of bolshevik authorities. In 1920, they executed him.He is remembered for his poetic works collected under titles The Path of the Conquistador, Romantic Flowers, Pearls,Foreign Sky , etc.
