Pattern inspired by vintage 1950s tin robot toys and sci-fi space illustrations. Mid-century style was incorporated to enchance the vintage style of this pattern. I wanted to use robots and rockets because that is one of my son's favorite toys and stories. I love creating whimsical illustrations that make my family smile.

I love old toy robots from 50s - 60s. They have such a personality that the plastic toys of today can’t compete with. I incorporated a science fiction theme that the robot genre often was included in, because they were (and still are) the future, and I just love space
