And this dog is truly pickleball as she holds a place in History but not like what you may think. The real Pickles belonged to one of the founding families of pickleball it's true, but did you know that pickleball was NOT named after a dog? The family dog was named after the sport (not the other way around). The true story can be heard at the Bainbridge Island Museum, the birthplace of pickleball.
