Bikini Atoll Posters and Art Prints

The design that started my shirt creations. This time printed in the back featuring my logo on the front. A depiction of the “Castle Bravo” detonation at Bikini Atoll in a misleading souvenir like image.

Bikini Bottom is the main setting in the SpongeBob SquarePants series. It is an undersea city where SpongeBob and his friends live. According to Nickelodeon's program summary, Bikini Bottom is located in the Pacific Ocean, beneath Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The city's population fluctuates throughout the series. In "Nautical Novice," Mrs. Puff states that Bikini Bottom is home to millions of people. In "The Good Krabby Name," Bikini Bottom is shown to have an estimated population of about 500. The city has historically gone by the names of Bikini Bottomshire, Bikini Gulch, and, temporarily, " Dead Eye Gulch.

Bikini Atoll nuclear test, 1956. Fireball by a nuclear weapon test detonation over Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands, on 21st May 1956. Bikini Atoll was the site of a number of above-ground nuclear weapons tests until the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty was signed in 1963.

"The atomic bomb that Rita Hayworth’s image allegedly adorned is the weapon detonated during the July 1, 1946 “Able” test on Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The bomb was dropped from a B-29 Superfortress airplane named “Dave’s Dream” and piloted by Major Woodrow P. “Woody” Swancutt. It was the fourth atomic bomb ever exploded and the first detonation ever to be reported on in real time by the media.
