The relative scarcity of bottle caps made them a perfect currency in the Fallout series. This led me to explore the art of bottle caps. The dining room door which leads onto the terrace in Bodega Cortijo El Cura. This lovely old cortijo, set in 25 hectares of vineyards in the Sierra de Gador above Laujar de Andarax, Almeria, Spain has been sensitively restored retaining many of its original features. I rarely paint interiors but I was attracted to this simple composition of the large, wooden door, old chair and slate floor with the light shining in from the terrace beyond.
