Here the spire of St Helen's church dominates the scene - a well known landmark to users of the Thames. It inspired the artist JMW Turner who featured ii in a painting called 'Abningdon'. It inspired the artist JMW Turner who featured ii in a painting called 'Abingdon'. This ancient town is now in Oxfordshire although until relatively recently it was in Berkshire and was at one time the county town. This image was captured on a sunny winter's day. The Athenaeum in Old Town Alexandria, VA is a fine arts museum. It is a great example of Greek Revival Architecture that was built in 1851 and was originally the Old Dominion Bank Building.

McConkey's Ferry Inn is the site where George Washington and the colonial army launched their famous attack of the British at Trenton NJ. This area is now known as Washington Crossing.

This design features a rendering from Albert Kahn dating to 1928, when the Fisher Building opened in Detroit's New Center. The rendering was taken from a book that was given out upon the building's opening in 1928.
