Horsetail Falls is a waterfall along the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, United States. It is easily accessible by car as it is right next to the Historic Columbia River Highway. The shape of the falls and the rounded rock face over which it flows cause it to resemble a horse's tail. All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software. The Wallaman Falls, a cascade and horsetail waterfall on the Stony Creek, is located in the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Wet Tropics in the northern region of Queensland, Australia. The highest, permanent, single-drop waterfall in Australia, Wallaman Falls is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, home to some of the oldest rainforests on earth and many endangered plants and animals.
