In July 2021 supporters of imprisoned former president Jacob Zuma took to the streets in Kwa Zulu Natal and certain parts of Gauteng and looted and burned hundreds of stores and shopping centres leaving thousands without jobs and people without food or fuel. People of all races stood together and defended their properties against the looters. This is a design to commemorate these heroes.
