The Wheel of the Year is an annual cycle of seasonal festivals, observed by many modern Pagans, consisting of the year's chief solar events (solstices and equinoxes) and the midpoints between them. Among Wiccans, each festival is also referred to as a sabbat.

The 8th full moon in the year is called harvest moon. It is the 3rd largest lunar festival in the annual cycle called Lammas or Lughnasadh and lies between summer solstice and autumn equinox. Harvest is about manifestation of abundance.

Lughnasadh is the old Celtic Festival celebrating the start of harvest season on August 1. This design celebrates the festival with the word itself in a Celtic font surrounding a Celtic knot which is itself flanked by two wheat sheaves.
