A pigeon make use of a welcome water fountain during the mid-summer heat

I captured this shot in Kings Cross in Sydney. The El Alemein Fountain is an iconic landmark in Kings Cross. When my parents emigrated to Sydney they lived in the area. I have memories of playing at the Fountain when I was just 5 years old.
