Popples were plush toys manufactured between 1986 and 1988. Each toy had a pouch on the back that could be inverted, so the character rolled into the pouch and resembled a brightly colored ball. Popples resembled colorful animals with long, pompom-tipped tails. The name "Popple" is a reference to the popping sound they make when unfolding themselves from such a ball, or pulling objects from their pouches. In the cartoon series of the same name, Popples commonly pulled large items from their pouches that could not possibly fit inside. In the "Popples Alley" episode, one of the Popples' human friends looks inside one of their pouches and sees numerous objects floating in a large void.

Electra Woman and Dyna Girl is a live action superhero children's television series from 1976. The series aired 16 episodes in a single season, and when released on home video, the 16 segments, which were each about 12 minutes long, were combined into eight episodes. The program followed the crime-fighting exploits of caped superhero Electra Woman and her teen sidekick Dyna Girl, who worked in their normal lives as reporters for Newsmaker Magazine. In each episode, the duo dons brightly-colored spandex costumes, in a bright flash of light called an "Electra-Change;" get into the "ElectraCar;" and use an array of technically-advanced gadgets to thwart an eclectic collection of super villains.

From 1973 to 2006, The Magician was featured in print ads in comic books as well as animated in television commercials. The character appeared on product labels as a living fruit pie sporting a cape, white gloves, top hat, and of course, a magic wand.

TigerSharks is an animated children's TV series developed by Rankin/Bass in 1987 about a team of heroes that could transform into amalgams of human and marine animals. The series lasted one season with 26 episodes and was part of the show The Comic Strip, which consisted of four animated series: TigerSharks, Street Frogs, The Mini-Monsters, and Karate Kat. The TigerSharks are an underwater salvage team that take on the task of defending world of Water-O. Using a device that allows the team to change to half man, half fish, they are able to thwart the evil plans of T-Ray and Captain Bazarlie. If TigerSharks looks and feels like the more successful ThunderCats or even SilverHawks series, that's because Rankin/Bass developed all three.

Chilly Willy is a cartoon character, a diminutive penguin. He was created by director Paul Smith for the Walter Lantz studio in 1953, and developed further by Tex Avery in the two subsequent films following Smith's debut entry. The character soon became the second most popular Lantz/Universal character, behind Woody Woodpecker.
