The Toyotomi clan (豊臣) was a Japanese clan that ruled over Japan before the Edo period, the most influential figure within the Toyotomi was Toyotomi Hideyoshi, one of the three “unifiers of Japan”, the clan dissolved after the son of Hideyoshi, Toyotomi hideyori commit seppuku adter defeated by Tokugawa Ieyasu in siege of Osaka.
