Turbary Posters and Art Prints

Turbary Collage, February 2021 Turbary Common is the largest remaining area of heathland in North Bournemouth (Dorset, England) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Despite being surrounded on all sides by industrial and residential neighbourhoods, the common is a haven for wildlife, including rare birds and all six species of British reptile. Date: 26th February 2021.

Shetland Cattle, Turbary Common, March 2021 Shetland cattle (or Shetland kye) are a small, hardy, horned cattle breed from the Shetland Islands to the north of mainland Scotland. They are usually black and white in colour. Somewhat strange, then, to find them a long way from home down in the south of England, on Turbary Common in Bournemouth, Dorset. Apparently, they were first introduced here in 2006 as part of the grazing management plan for the common. Date: 7th March 2021.

The Glade is an area in the Turbary Woods near Haxey Carr,North Lincolnshire.
